From the main menu, you can configure the system, detect the chessboard and pieces, start different game modes, recognize chess positions, access video tutorials, and customize the application according to your preferences.

The VISUAL-CHESS Configuration Wizard automatically detects the chessboard using a standard USB webcam. Through a guided setup process, the software identifies all 64 squares and verifies their correct alignment to ensure accurate recognition of both the pieces and their movements during gameplay.

VISUAL-CHESS uses advanced image processing filters to optimize piece detection under different lighting conditions. The Configuration Wizard allows these parameters to be adjusted easily, minimizing reflections and brightness variations to achieve fast, accurate, and reliable recognition.
